Real Estate was one of those unexpected turns if life. A natural disaster by the name of Hurricane Sandy lead me to an opportunity in Real Estate.
I was in business with my brother we each had fishing retail shops, both were destroyed by Hurricane Sandy. My brother's Landlord happened to be a Real Estate broker and a truly amazing person. His office was next door to my brother's shop. He had seen the mess and our dedication to clean it up and determination to reopen. My brother's Landlord approached me one day and asked if I had ever considered Real Estate? At that moment I was up to my elbows in storm debris, broken equipment and aromatic sea life the storm had swept into the shop weeks weeks prior. Timing is everything I took a chance on a new path. Barry's ability to seek out talent, give someone a chance at a career vs a job? It's priceless. I obtained my license in 2014 and I can honestly say My Broker Barry was and is my staunchest supporter, mentor and friend.
